Labyrinth Directors

Jo Godsmark : Ruth Waring : Paul Smith : Harvey Douglas

The Directors

Following the purchase of the Supply Chain Design Company in 2008, Paul, Harvey and Ruth have now been joined by Jo Godsmark to complete the management team. Click on each profile to find out more about their careers to date.

Harvey Douglas

Harvey has been in the industry since 1995 and has been working with Paul since 1998, yet somehow he retains his youthful looks and a sense of humour. He’s done some modelling in his time (see photo on home page) but catwalk opportunities have now sadly dried up. Oh sorry, I have just been told it’s actually transport modelling. Jo Godsmark

A chartered engineer Jo braved the shop floor at Ford Dagenham before moving to Mars (the confectionery giant, not the planet) where she worked for 16 years in a variety of roles. She then joined former logistics colleagues at the Supply Chain Design Company consultancy in 2006 before becoming a Labyrinth Director in 2008. Click here to find out more…

Paul Smith

Paul started in logistics as an NFC Graduate Trainee in 1987 before going on to hold a number of diverse roles in the organisation. He has worked alongside Harvey since 1998, first at McGregor Cory then at Labyrinth and Jigsaw. Despite this Paul retains a full head of hair and smiles through the pain. Ruth Waring

Ruth was also an NFC Graduate Trainee in 1989; narrowly managing to avoid meeting Paul. She worked at the M&S DC in France then back in the UK as a Traffic Manager before moving to automotive logistics company Gefco UK for seven years. In 2000 she moved into book distribution then set up her own business, Joanna Factotum, in 2002. It seems she could dodge Paul no longer; they met in March that year and Ruth began working for Labyrinth as an Associate before becoming MD in 2004; click here to find out more…
